Zulu Costumes

Part of NOLA's heritage is the Zulu parades. Originally started to celebrate the cultural roots of African descendants, they are now a large annual festival. One of the museums had an exhibit on the Zulu costumes, which are made from scratch each year and only used for that year. There are about a half dozen costumed "official positions" each year.
